CUSHIONED ALL-WEATHER HARD COURT - Surface of the Australian Open

  • Premier tennis court surface
  • Can be used for other sports, like basketball
  • Considered the ultimate hard court
  • Easier on the body than a standard hard court
  • Plays slower than a standard hard court
  • Available in over a dozen attractive colors
  • Custom color matching is available
  • Durable and low maintenance
  • 5 year average life span
  • Cushion coats will last the life of the court
  • The number of cushion coats can be adjusted to accommodate player preference

HAR-TRU® COURT - Many pro events are played on Har-Tru.
Featured at many tennis clubs and country clubs throughout the Northeast.

  • Premier tennis court surface
  • Ultimate surface for learning tennis
  • Plays slow, allowing for long rallies
  • Quicker playing availability after rain (water drains through)
  • Requires irrigation and maintenance
  • Reconditioning or resurfacing required annually
  • Most economical clay surface to install
  • 12 year average life span before major resurfacing (Laser Lift)

HYDROCOURT - New Har-Tru courts are usually constructed as Hydrocourts
due to easier maintenance

  • Premier tennis court surface
  • Hydrocourt is a Har-Tru court with sub-surface irrigation
  • Same playability properties as a traditional Har-Tru court
  • Less maintenance because the surface is constantly watered
  • Water usage savings of up to 60% over traditional Har-Tru courts
  • Playability is more consistent than traditional Har-Tru
  • Surface always has a dark uniform look
  • Requires less brushing and rolling
  • Reconditioning required annually
  • 12-15 year life span before major resurfacing (Laser Lift)
  • Traditional Red or American Green colors are available

NATURAL RED CLAY COURT - Similar to the surface of the French Open

  • Great for tennis although more difficult to maintain than Har-Tru
  • Ultimate surface for learning tennis
  • Plays slow, allowing for long rallies
  • Easiest surface on the body
  • Requires irrigation and various maintenance procedures
  • Requires calcium or magnesium chloride for moisture retention
  • Reconditioning or resurfacing required annually
  • Natural clay used for the court base
  • Red brick dust blend is typically used for top dressing although many different red clay blends are available, including actual European red clay
  • Product Brands: Partac® Beam Clay or Har-Tru Sports

SYNTHETIC HARD COURT - A non-invasive renovation option to cracked courts

  • Great for tennis and other sport such as basketball
  • Excellent system for cracked hard courts
  • Can be installed over aged clay court with a modified stone base (No asphalt needed)
  • Cushioned feel, easy on the body
  • New system designs now prevent “dead spots”
  • Surfaced with acrylic coating systems, similar to traditional all-weather hard courts
  • Other non-cushioned versions available such as TitanTrax®, which is a full court crack repair system and more economical
  • Installation times are typically 1-2 weeks

SYNTHETIC CLAY COURT - A low maintenance clay court option that's installed
right over old hard courts

  • Great for tennis
  • Overlay system uses actual Har-Tru as infill material to create actual clay court texture
  • Real Har-Tru feel
  • Ultimate surface for learning tennis
  • Must be installed over new or old asphalt surfaces
  • ProClay can be installed directly over a rock base
  • Only clay court that can be used year round in the Northeast, all-weather playability
  • Requires minimal maintenance (Brushing and periodic watering)
  • Extremely resilient and easy on the body
  • Allows players to slide, which prevents injury
  • Available in traditional red or green

SYNTHETIC GRASS COURT - New system designs have improved playability
making the surface extremely comfortable to play on.

  • Great for tennis
  • Other field sports can be played on the surface such as soccer and lacrosse
