Sport Builders offers premier tennis court construction, resurfacing and maintenance services to a wide range of clients from Maryland to Connecticut. Since 2000, we have completed hundreds of complex projects, guiding our clients through all stages from a design concept to actual play. We also provide the best on-going court maintenance in the business. Our comprehensive court contracting services include:

DESIGN AND CONSULTING - We can design and layout courts to make optimum use of your available space and provide computerized renderings so clients can visualize the look of their court. Much of our consulting work centers on developing appropriate reconstruction procedures for older courts.

HARD COURT AND HAR-TRU® COURT CONSTRUCTION - We build all-weather tennis courts and basketball courts or state-of-the-art Har-Tru courts, Hydrocourts and natural red clay courts. Our comphrehensive construction services include excavation, laser grading, irrigation systems, drainage systems, stone base construction, asphalt paving, playing surface systems and installation of selected accessories such as fencing, lighting, basketball systems and windscreens. We can even build walkways, retaining walls and patio areas.

HARD COURT RESURFACING - Hard court resurfacing includes crack repair (featuring the Tri-Force™ crack repair system) and application of various acrylic coating systems. Sport Builders can also paint custom logos on any court surface.

HAR TRU AND CLAY COURT RECONDITIONING - Annual reconditioning services (resurfacing) of Har Tru/Hydro/red clay courts includes surface compaction, surface repairs, irrigation system start-up/repair, top dressing and playing line installation.

HARD AND HAR-TRU COURT RECONSTRUCTION PROCEDURES - When resurfacing and reconditioning are not enough, we offer other solutions to renovate older courts. For hard courts, this includes asphalt overlays, stone dust overlays and complete court reconstruction. For Har-Tru courts, this includes laser lifts and Hydrocourt conversions. We can also convert old cracked hard courts into Har-Tru courts or Hydrocourts.

SYNTHETIC SURFACE INSTALLATION - Synthetic cushioned hard courts, synthetic Har-Tru or synthetic grass courts can all be installed right on top of dilapidated hard courts or clay courts.

HARD AND HAR-TRU COURT SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE - We offer annual service contracts on all our surface installations and mid-season tune-ups (periodic conditioning and emergency storm remediation). If you have a big tennis event, we’ll be there to make sure the courts are in tip-top shape.

BASKETBALL AND QUICKSTART COURTS - We offer the same services for basketball courts and QuickStart courts as we do for standard tennis courts including construction, resurfacing, reconstruction and maintenance.

COURT AMENITIES AND PRODUCTS - We provide sales, installation and service for all of your court needs including, fencing, lighting systems, basketball systems, windscreens, tennis nets/posts and on-court seating solutions. We also offer a full line of maintenance products, nets and court accessories.

SPECIALTY PROCEDURES - We are experts at irrigation system maintenance/installation, fence painting, and laser grading services. We also build pathways and pavilions to enhance the landscape around your court.
